Bowood

Bowood features a mid 18th century garden developed by Capability Brown from 1763. The owner, the Marquess of Landsdowne employed Josiah Lane to build a magnificent Grotto cascade, waterfall and Hermitage , decorated with the Lanes' signature use of ammonites.
