Christa Wilm is a talented shell artist who lives in Palm Beach, Florida and has roots in Augsburg, Germany. However, the inspiration for her shell ornamentation comes from Florence in Italy and it shows!
Christa's life experience (she’s been a press secretary in Washington DC, completed graduate work in archaeology at Harvard University and conducted research in the Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania) is as varied and unique as the shell art which she creates.
In the 90's Christa moved from Boston to Palm Beach and here she opened a fine antiques store on Antique Row in West Palm Beach in 1993. This shop is where she started creating (and selling) the incredible art she’s become known for.
Christa regularly holds shell workshops at the Vizcaya Mansion.
